The New Energy Works design team is in your corner, and we're happy to collaborate in a variety of ways. Our design process typically takes 6-12 months, and looks something like this:

We start off by gathering information about you and your project, including site visits and research on local building code.

The design process begins with sketches and exploration, and we work together to iterate and refine until the concept is complete.

Design documents turn into construction drawings with all of the necessary information for a contractor to build the project.

Final drawings will be issued for permitting and to the builder. The project will mostly transition from the architect to the contractor.

Building a responsibly sized and environmentally sound retirement home was a priority for these homeowners as they looked toward their future and utilizies as many environmentally friendly building materials as possible.

This home feeds the homeowners’ passions: boating, family time, and entertaining. The project began with traditional plans, which evolved throughout the design process in order to make the most of the building's picturesque surroundings.
"We worked with New Energy Works to create a beautiful home design for a custom home in Gig Harbor. I have to say their craftsmanship and attention to details is unparalleled."

"Over the last 10 years, we've been fortunate to use the talents of the New Energy Works team to design, build, and add elements to our Oregon coast home. The initial premier project was the design and building of the house itself. Every step of the process was a wonderful experience. Thoughtful design and amazing craftsmanship gave us our dream home."
